California’s SAN JOSE For over $20 billion in cash and equity, Adobe has signed a binding merger deal to buy Figma, a significant web-first collaborative design platform.
The acquisition builds on the purchases of the work management platform Workfront in 2020 and the agreement for Frame.io(opens in new tab), a cloud-based video collaboration platform, and is a part of Adobe’s ongoing effort to broaden its tools for creative collaboration.
